Privacy Policy
The short version
- We never sell, rent, or trade your information. When you ask us for a quote, your information stays with our agency.
- We use it to prepare your quote, contact you about it, and service your insurance.
- We share it only with the insurance companies we quote or place your coverage with, with service providers that help us run the agency (under contract), when the law requires it, or with your permission.
- You can stop calls and texts any time: reply STOP to a text or tell us on the phone.
1. Who we are
Sakha Agencies is the business name of Nicholas K Sakha Agency Inc ("we," "us," "our"), a local insurance agency with offices at 4765 S Durango Dr, Ste 200, Las Vegas, NV 89147 and 3200 SE Oak Grove Blvd, Portland, OR 97267. We are an Allstate agency. This policy explains how we handle information collected through sakhaagencies.com (the "Site"), our quote form, and our calls, texts, and emails with you.
When you buy a policy, the insurance company that issues it has its own privacy notice that also applies to you. For policies issued by Allstate and its affiliated companies, see the Allstate Privacy Center.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a quote, call, text, or email us, we may collect:
- Contact details: first and last name, phone number, email address, and street address.
- Personal details used to rate insurance: date of birth, gender, and marital status. We treat date of birth as sensitive information and protect it accordingly.
- Auto details: vehicle year, make, and model, number of drivers, whether you are currently insured, and your current insurance company.
- Home details: property type, age, square footage, number of stories, whether the home is currently insured, and your current insurance company.
- Anything else you choose to tell us when we talk about your coverage.
Information collected automatically. When you use the Site we and our service providers may receive your IP address, an approximate location derived from it (city, state, and ZIP code, used to pre-fill the quote form), browser and device type, pages visited, and the page that referred you.
Information from other sources. To prepare an accurate quote or issue a policy, we or the insurance company may obtain information such as motor vehicle records, claims history, or property details from consumer reporting agencies and similar sources, as permitted by law. We also use phone and email validation services to confirm that the contact details entered on the quote form are real.
3. How we use your information
- To prepare insurance quotes you request and contact you about them.
- To help you apply for, buy, and service insurance policies, including claims help.
- To send you information about insurance products and services you may be interested in, where you have agreed to it.
- To keep records required by law and by the insurance companies we represent, including records of your consent.
- To protect against fraud and spam, and to keep the Site working and secure.
- To measure how well our advertising works (see Cookies and website tools).
We do not use your personal information to train artificial intelligence models.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we never sell or share your quote request with other agencies or lead buyers. We share information only:
- With the insurance companies we quote or place your coverage with (for example, Allstate and its affiliated companies), so they can quote, underwrite, issue, and service your policy.
- With service providers that help us run our agency and the Site (listed in Cookies and website tools). They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- When the law requires it, such as responding to a subpoena, a regulator, or to protect someone's safety.
- If our agency is sold or transferred, to the new owner, who must honor this policy for the information transferred.
- With your permission, for any other purpose you approve.
5. Calls and text messages
If you give us your phone number and consent, we may call or text you about your quote and related insurance products and services, including with automated technology or a prerecorded voice. Consent is not a condition of buying anything.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- To stop texts, reply STOP, CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, or REVOKE. You will receive one message confirming you have opted out. Reply HELP for help, or call us at (702) 726-3110.
- You can also withdraw consent by telling us on a call, by email to contact@sakhaagencies.com, or any other reasonable way. We honor opt-outs promptly and no later than 10 business days.
- We call and text only within the hours permitted by federal and state law in your local time.
- Mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
- Calls may be recorded for quality and training, with notice where the law requires it.
6. Do Not Call
We keep an internal Do Not Call list. If you ask us not to call or text you, we add your number and honor the request for ten years. We check the National Do Not Call Registry before making marketing calls to anyone who has not given us consent, as the law requires.
7. Cookies and website tools
The Site is a simple website. We do not use advertising networks other than the Meta Pixel described below. These are the tools that receive information when you use the Site:
| Tool | Purpose | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Netlify | Hosts the Site | IP address, browser, pages requested |
| Zapier | Delivers your quote request to our agency's systems | Everything you enter on the quote form |
| Google Maps Platform | Address suggestions on the quote form and our office map | Address you type, IP address |
| ipapi.co | Approximate location to pre-fill city, state, and ZIP | IP address |
| AbstractAPI | Checks that phone numbers and emails are valid | Phone number and email you enter |
| Meta Pixel (Facebook) | Measures whether our Facebook and Instagram ads lead to quote requests | Pages visited, that a quote request was completed, IP address, browser and cookie identifiers. Meta may use this to show ads across other websites and apps. |
| Google favicon service | Shows small car-maker and insurance-company logos on the quote form | IP address, browser |
| Google Fonts | Displays the Site's fonts | IP address, browser |
Your quote details are passed from the quote form to the thank-you page using your browser's temporary session storage, which clears when you close the tab. We do not put your contact details in web addresses.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out, and the Meta Pixel does not load.
Do Not Track. Browsers' "Do Not Track" setting has no common standard, so we do not respond to it differently. We do honor Global Privacy Control as described above. Other than the Meta Pixel, we do not allow third parties to track your activity across other websites through our Site.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and adjust ad preferences in your Facebook and Instagram settings.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections on the Site. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as the law requires.
9. How long we keep it
We keep quote and policy information for as long as needed to quote and service your insurance and to meet legal, regulatory, and insurance-company record-keeping requirements. We keep records of your contact consent and opt-out requests for at least four years after our last contact with you, and Do Not Call requests for ten years. When we no longer need information, we delete or de-identify it.
10. Your choices and rights
- Access and correction. You can ask what information we have about you and ask us to correct it.
- Deletion. You can ask us to delete your information. We may need to keep some records the law or an insurance company requires us to keep, and we will tell you if so.
- Do not sell. We do not sell personal information. You may still send us a request to opt out of any sale, and we will confirm it.
- Marketing. You can opt out of marketing calls, texts, and emails at any time (see Calls and text messages).
How to make a request. Email contact@sakhaagencies.com or call (702) 726-3110. We will verify your identity by matching information we already have, and we generally respond within 45 days (we will let you know if we need more time, as the law allows). You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof of the agent's authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Appeals. If we decline your request, you can appeal by emailing contact@sakhaagencies.com with the subject "Privacy Appeal." We will respond in writing within 60 days and explain our decision. If you disagree with the result, you may contact your state's Attorney General or insurance regulator.
11. State-specific information
Nevada. This notice describes the categories of information we collect, the categories of third parties we share it with, how you can review and request changes to it, and how we notify you of changes, as Nevada law (NRS 603A) requires. Nevada residents may send a request not to sell covered information to our designated address, contact@sakhaagencies.com. We do not sell covered information.
California. This policy is posted in line with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. If an insurance company or our agency collects information about you from sources other than you in connection with an insurance transaction, you will receive a Notice of Insurance Information Practices as required by the California Insurance Information and Privacy Protection Act.
Oregon and Arizona, and other states. We follow the telephone solicitation and messaging rules of these states, including contact-hour limits and honoring opt-out requests. Comprehensive state privacy laws in these states largely exempt insurance producers and information covered by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act; where any such law applies to us, you may exercise the rights described above.
Information about your insurance policy is also protected by the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and state insurance privacy laws, and the issuing insurance company will give you its own privacy notice.
12. Children
The Site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Other websites
The Site links to other websites, such as Allstate, Google Maps, and social media. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read their policies.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new effective date, and for material changes we will provide additional notice, such as a banner on the Site.
